Description

A quick and easy Korean-inspired ramen dish featuring tender grilled beef, chewy noodles, and a spicy, savory sauce, topped with a creamy drizzle and fresh green onions. This recipe offers bold flavors and satisfying textures, perfect for a weeknight meal or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (fresh or instant without seasoning packet)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 teaspoons sriracha (or to taste)
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar or honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, gochujang, and rice vinegar. Add the thinly sliced beef and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. While the noodles cook, grill or pan-fry the marinated beef until cooked through and slightly charred.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sriracha to create the creamy sauce.
  5. Toss the cooked ramen noodles with the grilled beef.
  6. Divide the ramen and beef among serving bowls.
  7. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the top and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha in the creamy sauce to your preferred spice level.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a dash of sesame oil to the noodles after draining.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables like bok choy, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
