Description

Quick and easy frozen hash browns made in the air fryer for a crispy, golden finish without oil. Perfect for breakfast or brunch in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz frozen hash browns (Cascadian Farms recommended)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss frozen hash browns with oil (optional), salt, pepper, and garlic powder for even coating.
  3. Arrange the hash browns in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  4. Cook at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  5. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving to allow the crust to set.

Notes

  • For an oil-free version, use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Add spices like paprika or cayenne for extra flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers at 375°F for 3–4 minutes to regain crispiness.
  • No need to thaw hash browns before air frying.
