Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Drizzle olive oil over each fillet and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring both sides are coated.
- Carefully place the seasoned cod fillets in the air fryer basket, leaving enough space for air circulation.
- Air fry the cod for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is flaky and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the cod from the air fryer, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and serve.
Notes
- For best results, don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
- Store leftover cod in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C).
